Wear clothes you will be comfortable in so you can move easily – something with a bit of stretch such as gym wear, singlets and t-shirts, leggings, shorts and track pants. We will practice yoga barefoot however you can bring socks along for relaxation and layers are also great.
When do I need to arrive?
Ideally you want to arrive 15 minutes early for your first class, then 5-10 mins early after that so you can sign in and we can all start on time.
Do I need to bring anything?
All props and equipment are provided for your comfort. Definitely bring your own full water bottle.
How do I pay?
I am currently operating on cash only so please bring cash with you to pay for class whether its a casual class or for a passcard. Small notes or exact money is greatly appreciated.
How do I find you?
Classes are held at the Brunswick Heads Community Centre, South Beach Rd, Brunswick Heads (Opp Brunswick Heads Surf Club). There is heaps of street parking and once you walk in the main entrance wander down the hall and I’ll be in a room on the right.
Is it ok if I’m a beginner?
Yes, because these classes are gentle, subtle and intentionally slow so they are suitable for beginners and anyone who can transition from lying to sitting to standing. I offer many modifications so can support those with injuries or conditions. Your welcome to contact me if you’d like to discuss a particular injury or condition prior to coming to class if that helps.
Do you teach pre-natal yoga?
This is a very specialised area of practice which I am not trained in. I would recommend searching for a pre-natal trained teacher in your local area that offers this particular class.
Is there anything else I need to do to prepare for class?
– Try to avoid eating a heavy meal for at least 1 (or preferably 2) hour(s) before your class.
– When you arrive place your shoes at the door and switch your mobile off.
